Welcome to BibleQuiz Trivia, a web-based trivia game on the Safaricom Kenyan network. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the BibleQuiz Trivia service, including the game, website, and any associated features.

2. Eligibility

You must be a resident of Kenya and have an active Safaricom mobile phone number to participate in BibleQuiz Trivia. You must be at least 13 years old to play.

3. Account Creation and Login

• Registration: To create a BibleQuiz Trivia account, you need to provide a username, your Safaricom phone number, and a password.
• Two-Factor Authentication: For security, you will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS to your registered phone number when you log in to your account.
• Account Management: You can access your account settings to manage your profile, change your password, and add or remove phone numbers.

4. Subscription and Unsubscription

• Daily Subscription: To subscribe to the daily BibleQuiz Trivia service, send “START BQ” to 22315. You will be charged Kes 11.60 per day.
• Unsubscription: To unsubscribe from the service, send “STOP BQ” to 22315.

5. Game Play and Prizes

• Trivia Rounds: BibleQuiz Trivia features trivia rounds with questions covering the bible.
• Scoring: Players earn points for answering trivia questions correctly.
• Prizes:
  • Daily Winner: The player with the highest score each day wins a prize of KES 150 of airtime.
  • Monthly Winner: The player with the highest score each month wins a cash prize of KES 12,000.
• Prize Distribution:
  • Airtime and Cash: Daily airtime and monthly cash prizes are awarded via a 3PP TandaPay.
  • Payout Schedule: Prizes will be distributed each morning at 8:00 AM Kenyan time.
• Prize Eligibility: To be eligible for prizes, you must be a subscribed user of BibleQuiz Trivia.
• Prize Structure: Daily airtime prizes are awarded to the top 10 players on the daily leaderboard, with the prize amount varying based on their ranking. The full prize structure is available on the BibleQuiz Trivia platform.
• Fair Play and Anti-Fraud: We employ anti-fraud measures to ensure fair play in prize competitions. Users found to be engaging in fraudulent activity, such as cheating, creating multiple accounts, or any other prohibited behavior, may be disqualified from prizes and have their accounts suspended.

6. Third-Party Service

• BibleQuiz Trivia uses a third-party platform called TandaPay to process airtime and cash prizes.
• While we strive to ensure the security and reliability of the TandaPay platform, we are not responsible for any issues or delays related to their service.

7. Data Privacy

• We collect your mobile phone number, username, and email address when you create an account or subscribe to BibleQuiz Trivia.
• We use this information for sending you prize notifications, and subscription confirmations, and managing your account.
• We do not share your personal information with third parties, except to process airtime and cash prizes through our third-party partner, TandaPay. We only share your phone number with TandaPay to ensure that airtime prizes are correctly delivered to your Safaricom account. We have carefully selected TandaPay as our trusted partner for processing airtime prizes, ensuring that their data handling practices meet our standards for user privacy.

8. Disclaimer

• While we make every effort to provide a high-quality and reliable gaming experience, BibleQuiz Trivia is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind.
• We are not responsible for any losses or damages arising from your use of BibleQuiz Trivia or the Safaricom network.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the BibleQuiz Trivia service at any time without notice.
• Please ensure you have sufficient airtime on your SIM card account to cover the subscription fees before subscribing to the daily, weekly, or monthly BibleQuiz Trivia service.

These Terms and Conditions will be governed and construed per the laws of Kenya.
